Ph.D. Candidate
Henry Collis
Henry is a fourth year PhD candidate in Mechanical Engineering. He graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines in 2020. During his undergraduate degree he was a year-round intern at Sandia National Laboratories working on methods for characterizing various material microstructures using image processing.
He is currently interested in developing physics based models and numerical methods for the simulation of turbulent two-phase flows. Additionally, he is also interested in the broad areas of computational fluid dynamics, turbulence, and computational applied math.
Outside of research, he enjoys playing golf, tennis, watching TV/movies, and eating great food.
