Omkar Shende

Omkar Shende is a sixth-year Ph.D. student in the department of Mechanical Engineering. He graduated in 2018 with a B.S.E. in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Princeton University and an M.S in mechanical engineering from Stanford University. His current projects revolve around quantifying the interactions between turbulence and chemistry in complex flows. Outside of the lab, he enjoys cooking, reading, hiking, and racquet sports.
